I'm looking into getting a SSL certificate for one of my clients. I'm just not sure which company to go with. I'm looking at Verisign, Thawte, and some what Geo Trust. I need a SSL with Server Gated Cryptography (SGC) or 128-bit "step-up".

Verisign is by far the most expensive but offers a little bit more as far as browser/computer compatibility and it offers "insurance".

I would just like some opinions about what you think of each company (if you have any).

My client thinks with verisign we are paying for the name. But who knows.
