http://www.freeflashintros.com/site/this ... cat=Intros

Most of those arent that great being that they are free and all, but you may find something you like.

Insert the following code into your body tag:

Code: [ Select ]
background ="backgroundimage.gif" bgproperties="fixed"

I have used that piece of code on sites, it created problems with certain images and certain browsers, I suggest http://dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex3/fixback.htm only prob is that it reqiures java enabled browsers.

:roll: Dynamic drive, I've seen more crap from that site than I care to think about.

Well seeing as that script is used to filter out NSN 5 and IE 3 or lower, there are more people without javascript than would suffer from the CSS styles:

Code: [ Select ]
body{
  background-attachment:fixed;
}
  1. body{
  2.   background-attachment:fixed;
  3. }

However, that will only work on the body, if you try to apply it to a specific element (a p or div tag for eg) IE will display it wrong. as demonstrated by the <a href="http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/edge/complexspiral/demo2.html" target="_blank">complex spiral</a>

You would have to do some browser sniffing, I suggest the CSS !important rule, to isolate IE and send different styles to it.
