I don't know how to expain it better than this. It might be my machine, but I doubt it...

My web page locally has this code and everything works fine...

Code: [ Select ]
<table width="125" height="125" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" bgcolor="#666666">
           <tr>
            <td><a href="speakers.html#lkenswil"><img src="bio_images/larry_kenswil.gif" width="125" height="125" border="0"></a></td>
           </tr>
          </table>
  1. <table width="125" height="125" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" bgcolor="#666666">
  2.            <tr>
  3.             <td><a href="speakers.html#lkenswil"><img src="bio_images/larry_kenswil.gif" width="125" height="125" border="0"></a></td>
  4.            </tr>
  5.           </table>

However, when I upload the page to the web, the image is missing and all I get is the table. Checking the code via source, it seems the sourced code has changes as well:

Code: [ Select ]
<table width="125" height="125" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" bgcolor="#666666">
           <tr>
            <td><a href="speakers.html#lkenswil"></a></td>
           </tr>
          </table>
  1. <table width="125" height="125" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" bgcolor="#666666">
  2.            <tr>
  3.             <td><a href="speakers.html#lkenswil"></a></td>
  4.            </tr>
  5.           </table>

I'm 100% sure the files are the same! I can't figure it out at all---btw, it doesn't work on my machine (PC: IE, Foxfire), but works on a Mac... (yea, lovely)

So your file is being altered at some point while you're uploading?

Are you using an upload function from an app/web app, or are you FTP'ing?

I'm using FTP to upload everything. I know the image files are there because I can view them directly via browser link--

Try putting the image in the same directory as your html file. Then put

<a href="speakers.html#lkenswil"><img src="bio_images/larry_kenswil.gif"></a>

That doesn't explain it working on a mac or off the web... I think it was the table height properties were cutting off the size of the image, for the life of me I have no idea...
