The ultimate font?

I'm sorry to pollute the forum with such a stupid question but I'm not sure what to google...
Is there an ultimate font in all Windows, Mac and Linux which supports Latin, Cyrillyc and, not necessarily, Japanese (because if the OS is a Japanese one it'll surely do). But I mean, font that is installed with the platforms' OS-s itselfs.

Yup. Such font doesn't exist (I've been googling too) so I should just leave browsers handle fontage as they please.
