Hey, I have seen this on many web sites. Before the title there is a customized image/icon replacing the default e. I was wondering how I could do that for my site. Is it html or some other language? I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Are you refering to the "title bar" or the "address bar"? I've never seen it in the title bar and don't think it can be done without a registry hack on an individual computer. If you mean in the "address bar" those are called favicons and have already been discussed here several posts down on this board.

Thanks for asking the question though - while looking I found a nice little javascript to include current time and date in the title bar <a href="http://www.cgiscript.net/cgi-script/csNews/csNews.cgi?database=js_scroll_title_status_bars%2edb&command=viewone&id=51&op=t">here</a>. That comes in very handy at the moment.

I meant the address bar, and I realized my error after posting the last message. Apologies,

Favicons have a tendency to dissapear if a person ever cleans out their history or cookies folder, correct? And they do not re-appear until that individual re-bookmarks the site. This has been my experience with them, but that was back when they first came out. Have browsers improved the way they handle favicons since then?

I believe I detailed all that in the link above.
