I'm using Wordpress and I have managed to get the title and tags showing but I have added

Code: [ Select ]
<?php the_content(__('Read more...')); ?>
and even though that's what the WP site say's to put, it isn't showing up, anyideas of what I could do?

Hello Moonfire,

I use Wordpress.

Just write your post in the normal way then this after a few lines:

<!--more--> <--This is what you see in HTML view. In visual view you see this:

-------------------------------------------------more

All you do in WP is in your top menu, The more is a small box next to the image box. just click more box and WP does the rest. Carry on writing your post Thats it.

Hi Suzie, Thanks for that but it didn't seem to work - well it did but that wasn't what I was looking for.

If you look at the site you will see what I mean:

I don't know then Moonfire because I never touch mine except the way I showed you earlier.

I do *like what you did for the forum though , is that just a link in the menu with the forum seperate...great idea and something people are asking about more and more as they stretch Wordpress as far as possible..

But to answer your question I am sorry but PHP is a language I hav'nt even touched on.

A helpful link:

I have asked a lady who has wrote the above book if she can help but it maybe much later today I get a reply if I can send the question to her, or someone else on the list I am on may be able to help.

Hope someone can help. I'll pop into your forum later...hehehee
