<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<style type="text/css">
body {
margin-left: 0px;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-right: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
overflow: hidden;
}
</style>
</head>

The "overflow:hidden" was suppose to do the trick my scrollbars are still there.

My ultimate goal is to have a page that behaves like this one:
http://www.carriemclaren.com/lofi.html

As you shrink the window it just overlapped over the content with no scrollbars in sight.

any help would be great

thanks!

...

It needs to scrollbar, seeing as it doesn't extend pass the bottom of the page...

If you click on "resume", you'll notice that it has a scrollbar, meaning it used frames...

By the way, I wouldn't want to have a site that behaves like that. In my opinion, it's ugly.

You want to break a browser's functionality why???

You are approaching the "problem" from the wrong direction. A good direction would be, "How can I make my content easy to access? Make your design flexible instead of rigid, and your problems will melt themselves off the edge of the world. Or maybe they'll evaporate or sublimate. I'm not sure which.

Agreed with Sam Hughes, but seeing as I happen to know the answer I thought I would share it. The following should mess up your browser pretty good:
Code: [ Select ]
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<style type="text/css">
body, html {
margin-left: 0px;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-right: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
overflow: hidden;
}
</style>
</head>
  1. <head>
  2. <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
  3. <title>Untitled Document</title>
  4. <style type="text/css">
  5. body, html {
  6. margin-left: 0px;
  7. margin-top: 0px;
  8. margin-right: 0px;
  9. margin-bottom: 0px;
  10. overflow: hidden;
  11. }
  12. </style>
  13. </head>
