I would suggest making new sites for learning purposes and push the limits as to what you know.

This will re-enforce what you already know and teach you how to integrate ...

What are you looking for exactly to learn?

I'm always looking for new tutorials on Photoshop techniques, Flash design, CSS layouts, etc. I'm a newbie so I'm always trying to find some hot tutorials. Except for programming ones. I think I have to draw the line right now at Photoshop, Flash and CSS. That's already enough.

I know there are a thousands out there. A simple search can give you a list as long as my arm. But finding good ones that offer techniques that are current industry standards and that are years out dated, is the problem. I find layout tutorials all the time, but 99% of them are either very weak or very old. But I hear you when you say "I would suggest making new sites for learning purposes and push the limits as to what you know." I think I will have to just keep working the ones I have and adding to them.

I was under the impression you were already using it. Or is this sarcasm? Only thing I hate about the web, you don't get any tone with a conversation.

Okay here is the first site I ever used for flash: http://www.toxiclab.org (warning some of the tuts were written by people that speak English as a second or third language. So they sometimes miss crucial words in the explanation.

Then there's http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash/index.htm
http://www.oman3d.com/tutorials/
http://www.flash-game-design.com/web-la ... rials.html

I have more. But I should probably PM them to you instead.

for CSS, I usually think of something I would like to accomplish, and then I try it and if it doesn't work I google for a solution and then if I still can't find anything I ask ozzu ... that way I know that my search terms are relevant ...

Hi,

You can find many tutorials when you just search in google. But, i would suggest you to try the designing and development with, what you know and only by trial and error method you can find the right solution for the mistakes you do.
:D There is never a valuable book to gain knowledge, than what you learn from the mistakes you do. :D
