Hi All,

I have the suspect that my web site has been linked to unwanted sites. This happened ever since I clicked into link removed to see how a widget looked like.

Do you think that something like this can happen?

If this is true, can someone help with this issue? What am I supposed to do?

I would be thankful if you can you test my web site at: //link removed

Thank you very much for your help

I think your initial post scared anyone from investigating your problem further.

Looking at your site I don't see any links to that look dodgy.

Are you talking about links TO your website friom another or FROM your website to another?

Hi All,

Many thanks for helping and sorry for not replying. I am abroad with very difficult internet access.

What can I do to eliminate the backlink? I want to have no such kind of things when someone open the web site.

Thank you again for your very kind help

Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page. The number of backlinks is an indication of the popularity or importance of that website or page. In basic link terminology, a backlink is any link received by a web node (web page, directory, website, or top level domain) from another web node (Björneborn and Ingwersen, 2004). Backlinks are also known as incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links.

Why you want to eliminate it?

I would like to eliminate the backlink because I do not like the idea that when someone opens the website of interest other pages may appear that are not requested by the user. Image the case of a site with nudity that opens as a baclink when the web page of interest is opened. Not nice indeed.

I think that one should have the freedom to see the web pages or sites what he/she choose without intrusions of the unwanted links by other parties.

Is there any way to filter the page you do not want to be backlinked?

Thanks everyone for helping.
