username and pass for site access

i would really like someone to tell me how to require access to a web site on first sight. like a router password form.

can anybody help??

Try the search option at the top of the page. This question has been answered several times before.

Just type in "password protect" -- 108 results just here in our own forum and many of them answer your question.
