I am in search of free web icons to use for my site.

The ones I need are:

 1. Edit
 2. Delete
 3. Locked
 4. Unlocked
 5. Shopping cart empty
 6. Shopping cart full
 7. Arrow next
 8. Arrow last page
 9. Arrow previous
 10. Arrow first page
 11. Poll
 12. Check mark
 13. Feed icons

Those are currently the ones that I can think off that I will/might need now and in the future... the list will grow bigger

I've never seen a copyright/watermark on an icon like that - just find a site you like and rip 'em!

The first ones that come to mind -at least for me - would be the "Silk" icon set by Mark James. he's done a couple of free sets (in addition to Slink, there's "Flags," "Mini," and "Mint"), Silk alone containing over 700 icons. They're pretty basic and familiar (you can see the Silk set used all over the internet), but simple, clean, and nice.

Other sets a bit of digging turned up:
twotiny, designed by Paul Jarvis
Tiny Little Icons, by Tom Maisey
Greyscale, by Ian Main
The Tango Icon Library, by the =http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Desktop_ProjectTango Desktop Project
Bitcons, by P.J. Ornori

Also by P.J. Ornori, Sanscons - a spin-off of Bitcons that can be customized (colors and shapes) using CSS. (There are also larger versions of Bitcons and Sanscons called Bitcons+ and Sanscons+.)
-Patrick J. B. Simmons | @hobbramble
