Greetings,

I have a menu at the top of my website:

http://www.green-watch.org

The website keeps expanding so we decided that we need a drop-down menu to help organize the website better and provide users with better navigation.

Many of the drop-down menus we have tried using has destroyed the CSS currently in place for the menu.

We need some sort of drop-down menu that will not alter the top layer of the menu, and displays drop down menus when hovering over that top layer.

I am just wondering if any users in this forum could recommend a nice drop-down menu script to use?

Thanks in advance for any information and / or suggestions.

Sincerely,
Travis Walters

Hi Travis,

In this case I usually code the menu myself with Javascript, instead of using an out of the box script. Using the jQuery javascript library (http://www.jquery.com), this isn't even a lot of work.

If you're new to jQuery, maybe this tutorial helps out:
Blog post: http://css-tricks.com/simple-jquery-dropdowns/
Live example: http://css-tricks.com/examples/SimplejQueryDropdowns/
There are a lot of ohter examples, just Google for it.

Also, Visual jQuery (a really good overview of functions in jQuery) might help out when customizing: http://visualjquery.com/

Good luck!
