I am not sure whether that topic should be posted here, but I will post it anyway. I have created that site http://www.haitisurf.com . I have received a lot of clicks, but I am wondering how come I do not have all the traffic that I would love to have: Have a busy forum and a Busy chat room? Am I doing something wrong or should I just go ahead and pay yahoo to place my site in a better spot in search engines?

maybe I submit my site too often to search engines Once every 45 days. What do you guys think?

I think the best thing you can do is increase links to your site by submitting to directories. I know the one google looks over a lot is http://www.dmoz.org

Go down to the google forum and read posts there about increasing traffic.

Best place I've seen so far for undestanding and learning about search engines and submissions:
