Well I used Dreamweaver when I first started learning all of these languages, but for some time now I have stuck solely with Notepad++.

It's the best.

Same, but instead of notepad++ I use normal notepad lol. Gonna download notepad++ and check it out right now.

Beside Dreamweawer, which is undoubtedly the best tool, I use Namo Web editor (who is nicknamed Dreamwewers Killer) and Notepad++ (What is ultra lightweight and totally free)...

I tend to use dreamweaver for 3 reasons:
1. It automatically inserts the DTD, and can be easily changed (not something I'll ever remember off the top of my head)
2. Commands > Apply Source Formatting (my coding habits are messy at best)
3. All linked css and javascript files are opened with my html file.

Other than that, theres no reason for me to use it. I could just as easily use notepad++ for free, but oh well. It's already paid for.

i use notepad++,
because it's free license
and actually a little bit hard then dreamweaver because you must know the code, if it is in dreamweaver we can press ctrl+space, if we want to know the code.
but actually in notepad++ same feature but different in implementation

I'm different to everyone else on here - I use a WYSIWYG editor called 350pages. I appreciate the ease of use of being able to position objects exactly where I want rather than fight code. I'm not too good at visualising things!
