Hi, I have a domain name pwnagetime.net which was an Unreal Tournament (UT99) clan website for a few years. I have decided to do something new with it but can't seem to get any ideas. That's why I'm asking for your opinion, so please tell me what I should do with it. What will best suite with this kind of domain name.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

P.S If you want to buy this domain then PM me with your offer.

well looking at the domain name, I think that sticking to some kind of gaming forum / website would be a good idea.

If your an avid gamer and you have some friends that are too you could start a small community and build it up.

You might think about a community based around videos / screenshots of "Times of pure Pwnage"

@ penguin and spoof

Those are very nice ideas but do you suggest that I should host these images/videos on my server or ask people to host them on other hosts and then just link to them?

I say that because if I start hosting images/videos then it will cost me a bunch overtime and what's to stop people from uploading unnecessary content?

@ joebert

You're joking right? Can you please explain more?

More suggestions appreciated!

You've never seen Red vs Blue machinima, or the tank commics at Newgrounds ?

Come on, you've already got a killer parody intro line staring you in the face.

I just picked UT3 because it's still pretty new & the site did used to be a UT site from what I gather.

Man a UT3 site would be so cool ... it's the only game I play nowadays (and a little bit of Assassin's Creed) ... online I struggle (a ping of like 200) but I still play anyway lol ... a Weekly UT3 comic would be really cool ...
Let's leave all our *plum* where it is and go live in the jungle ...

How about:

1. Turn it into a "How to PWN" website. Charge admission, and make sure the n00bs know they aren't 1337 unless they join up. OR...

2. Park it, sell any and all of these ideas to some n00b, and charge him $1000 for the domain name.

I'm not, actually, but SOMEBODY must be. Recently, I was trying to decide on some good domain names for myself. One of the ones I wanted was already taken up... by a squatter who was just sitting on it asking for $800 for the domain name.

What a waste. Personally, I'm just getting started with a couple of e-commerce ideas... definitely not looking to pay $800 for a domain name.

With all these new machinima jazz and whatnot you've got a great opportunity to create a youtube for gaming videos. You're bound to have space to host videos now don't you? Just start small, or you can just host the videos on any number of other sites (youtube, google, veoh, etc. etc.).

A web comic isn't bad either. But the first thing that comes to my mind after reading "pwnagetime" is videos of crazy deaths or kickassness in video games in general (you could create a categories for halo, UT3, etc. etc.)
