The server is sending a "text/plain" Content-Type HTTP header.
Chances are that the server is missing the handler for parsing PHP files as PHP.

It could have been caused by anything from a hosting switch, to uploading something that overwrote an htaccess file and destroyed your AddHandler line.

Ok the link wont work cos I removed my site from the web (dont want everyone seeing the php and stuff).

Also not that 123-reg (the one I use) now tels me they do not support php on there servers which is dumb unless I get a dedicated server!

Wow, I think that is the first time in 5 years I have ever heard of a host not supporting PHP unless you get a dedicated server.

I think the only way your best option wouldn't be to move to a new host right now is if you paid a year in advance and can't get a prorated refund. Which even then, if you can't use it the way you need to, is kinda iffy.
