Hi,
can anyone guide me somewhere that will teach an absolute beginner how to create pages purely in CSS?

I keep reading about how this is a much more efficient way to do things, so I think I should look into it.

I don't even know much about html, let alone CSS. I use Dreamweaver and just tweak the html here and there and use CSS just for text formatting, so I am no expert in the field of creating websites, by any means.

Still, I would like to see what I can do with just CSS. Any pointers as to the best way to go about learning this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

here's some starts:

http://www.w3schools.com
http://www.mako4css.com/index.htm
http://bluerobot.com/web/layouts/default.asp
http://www.glish.com/css/
http://www.wpdfd.com/
http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/index.html
http://www.brainjar.com/

Read through all those and you should have a pretty good grasp on CSS.
