I would disagree on the security aspect. In IE there are several known Flash exploits that still work, that other browsers have been able to fix. While this is not an IE issue, it does represent a large security issue for users, particularly users without much experience. The amount of remote code execution exploits in IE is mind boggling. IE has been cited recently as the most secure browser, however, everything I have read into it lists many severe security issues which keep me from using it for anything serious. Aside from any other issues which are more opinion based, the security flaws are enough to keep me away from it. Other browsers have issues as well, but it seems to me that Chrome right now is sitting the best in security, which is why its currently my primary browser. I do tend to hop around a lot between Chrome, FF, Opera and Safari depending on who has the top security and the features I'm wanting at the time though.

I was typing in a long answer with facts of why you are wrong and collecting some links. But then I thought it's not really my battle to prove you wrong here.

And "my browser is the best" tend to lead to nothing really except waste of both time. Lets just say I do not agree but I wont try to prove you wrong, this probably looks as tho I lack facts. I do not lack facts but I don't see what positive outcome this can lead to. You would have to disprove me once more and I would probably respond and so on. Even if I'm right from 1 year or half an year from now there will be new browsers coming from all those manufacturers and once again people will be crying "my browser is the fastest", "my browser is the best", "my browser ...". And the discussion will continue. I do not see it as if one browser are superior to the other.

They have their strengths and their weaknesses. Its not like comparing a new sports car with an old car with bad engine and paint - the browsers are closer than that (at least today). Its more like comparing almost identical cars and ask "do I want a green/blue or yellow car"? They all got some nice characteristics and one that feels good for me may not feel like the ultimate one for the other.

I don't think any browser today outperform the latest versions from the other manufacturers. So sometimes I go with the yellow one and other times I use the green or blue one. If others enjoy only the blue car then good for you. But personally I like them all, all browsers today has some tests and futures it preforms better than the other at and offer their own feel and look. = )

I definitely agree with you on that. Like I said, I hop around a lot, I do flavor of the month with all the browsers. I would be more than happy to backup my claims using examples. And I am in no way claiming that there is one browser far superior to the others in security. My flavor of the month is currently Chrome because they have a few of the security flaws fixed that are major concerns for me because of the types of sites I browse, that IE does not have fixed(nor does FF, Opera or Safari). Soon as stuff like that changes again, and some new exploit comes out that I am concerned with, I'll switch it up again to which ever browser best protects against it. For personal looks and feel I generally stay away from IE, and stick to one of the other browsers, but that's personal appeal.
