Word DOC to HTML?

What is the easiest way to convert such documents? Plus is there any GREAT software or OPEN-SOURCE type programs one can use?

Microsoft Word has a save as HTML function but I will warn you, the code it produces is pretty awful.

that's true, i haven't tested word 2010 save as html, but i guess it's the same. At least word 2007, html was dirty.
