My host (HostHelpers) has been hacked by nnncnnc or similiar, so I started transferring my files over to another paid host.

However, when I go to co(dot)cc to change my nameservers, the site doesn't respond!

So, is co(dot)cc down?

No, it works for me. Hope that none of your files got anything.

Uh oh.

The persons that hacked the webservers only affect the output of file as they're generated in languages like PHP and ASP, not the files themselves.

However, I believe I have just fallen victim to a virus as I cannot access co(dot)cc! My hosts file is unedited... seems that I need a better virus scanner.

I'm also hosted by HostHelpers and cannot access my domain at all (not even control panel to copy files). How did you transfer your files to a new server?

Thanks

+ I also had some issues with co .cc, it seems to be a little flaky at the moment, but it worked for me right now.

The problems with co .cc where on my end (I think it was with my router). As for backing up my files, I simply used FTP to download everything.
