What exactly are you looking for? You said edit HTML files online? what do you mean? Or are you just looking for a good HTML editor?

Its like a text box with all these tools, just like ms word... and then once finished making whatever you want it turns in to html.

he basically wants/needs a user friendly WYSIWYG.

Dreamweaver fits the bill...but the trial is only 30 days if I remember correctly. You can also get trials of Fireworks & Flash @ Macromedia. But, with all of them I believe the length is 30 days.

Maybe someone could suggest some good free WYSIWYG interfaces.

I found the concept of WYSIWYG editor a bit stange.

Why not just display the page in a browser and refresh the page everytime you make a change.

There is also the issue that the layout of a web page is typically dynamic, if you resize the browser the layout of a page changes.

To test a web page properly you'd display it in several different browsers any way.

no, you dont understand. Sorry if i sound rude...

I want a simple text box that links up to a html page... on that text box will be lots of facilities link text colour changing and everything. Once a change has been made "dynamically" it then updates the html "ONLINE"!
