Do you know how to add a person to a webpage? Similar to sitepal but as a real person...not a avatar cartoon. I have seen similar services like videohotshots and onsite videos...but I am looking for a more afordable solution. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tyler

Tyler,

If your are looking for a more affordable service I would definitely recommend SitePal. You can have a custom talking character created of yourself so that it will look like a real person instead of a "cartoon avatar"

Please check if this is what you are looking for (similar to sitepal):

I can offer you a much much affordable cost. However you are require to record your own voice since my mother tongue is not English.

Hiya. Another alternative: //removed. The characters are computer generated, but they don't have Sitepal's cartoon style avatars, instead using more realistic looking models.

You create the script and record the voice yourself, create the composition and the end result is easily intergrated into your own website. Depending on how good you actually ARE with html/javascript :p

Only 50 quid.

Check it out :)

Check out //removed - they have a wide range of characters, including cartoons and realistic figures, in head, bust, and body formats. There is a hosted version that works like sitepal, as well as a downloadable version that lets you create your own flash files. There is also a server product that lets you create avatars that speak any text from a javascript API, using server-side Text-to-Speech.
