jjwarr: Thank you for effort in complying with the rules. While your reviews don't show a lot of care, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and release your thread. Please feel free to restore your title and your links.

Thanks again for your effort.

P.S. It would be a very nice thing if you were to re-examine your first 3 reviews and expand on the things you wrote there.

I hate it, the noise is horrible... take it away

It looks like you've taken 2 or 3 different site templates, and just taken bits out of each and badly merged them into one.

And, as for the domain name... well, I'm just not going to comment on that :)

You really have no idea?

You don't think people will just assume you're ripping off 1and1 hosting?

Seems a little unoriginal, and amateurish. Not professional at all, and would steer many people away from you.

Hi,

I like your site, but not for a web-hosting site.

There is a lot of redundant information that make the site look cluttered. For example, the popup in my opinion servers no purpose and I found it more convenient to close it.

Your logo shows your sense of adventure and your ability to code with flash, but it does nothing to promote your web hosting ability. When a potential client first comes to your site, I think they’ll be more distracted by the logo than focused on relevant information.

So from a design standpoint if you made your banner smaller and took the popup out it may be better. On the technical side, I’m not that good to give you any useful insight.

I hope this helps.

I agree with axe...

Looks like you tried to put together 3 different templates and couldn't line them up correctly.

First off, get rid of the annoying flash at the top.

Second, take out "Can't sleep? Well this page should keep you interested!"

Third, your plan texts don't match up. You have "BASIC PLAN" in a white arial type font w/ a 1px stroke.... and then your other 3 types are in a different plain white font.

Fourth, Get rid of those "FREE TRAFFIC" banners at the bottom.

Fifth, you have random dead links throughout your site.

Sixth.... ummm i just visited http://www.2and2hosting.com/contact.htm
and umm.... not to be mean, but come on... If you are trying to sell web hosting services you have to clean up your page or don't expect to get any business.

Fix the site up and then update us :)

Goodnight.

This has got to be a joke... Your prices are just way too much... The page looks like a mess... If there are suckers out there on the internet who would ever go for a hosting service like yours yours must be out of their minds :shock: First off too much stuff all over the place and the placement is all scattered.. broken links all over as stated before...
turn off that music omg or at least put a stop sounds button
Code: [ Select ]
on (release) {
    stopAllSounds();
}
  1. on (release) {
  2.     stopAllSounds();
  3. }
Do it i'm going crazy here!

2/10 just another bs hosting service Good start I'm sure you'll improve it! there... :P

Well, reading the other posts, I'm glad my speakers are always off until I need them, I don't wanna know what this noise is, especially if it matches up with the rest of the site.

So problems:
The banner section is disjointed. There is no consistancy with colour or size, you have random grey (only in mozilla - sort your browser consistancy) and blue boxes and a lot of empty space up there. The banner is too big, and fills up all the space above the 800x600 fold. Although your site is too big for 800x600 res anyway :roll:

On the about company page you have those two images in the content sections. Make them the same size, and don't leave so much empty smace below them - align or float so that the text wraps round them. Or remove them, as they seem to have no relevancy to the page.

On the contact page you have two email addresses. One is for the domain http://www.cwgsy.net/ which I assume is your ISP? And the other one links to a hotmail account for god sake! At least get your own email at your own domain!

Every page has different typography, which adds to the disjointed feel, but I guess at least you are consistant in your, uh, inconsistancy...

I'm no designer and my skills with aesthetic are far from good, but this site just looks as though you have not even tried. With so many hosting companies available, you are going to have to fight for those customers.

//edit, yeah and your site search doesn't work. Server errors don't look too good for potential customers.

not only have I see this template before ( a tad altered)

1. Pixelated Images, Stretched Images

2. Strokes on your banners, covering old name, very easily pointable of its
streaks on the blue, etc.

3. Many grammatical error's through-out the site itself.

4. 24hr Service? I don't think your own 24/7, atleast, make it a not Hotmail address, and specifically jwworlf, makes it look like a 1 person operation Web Hoster.

5. I rather dislike your choice of Font, Boldness, size of many text's

6. Not only is your terms Messy, it contains grammatical errors, symbols misplaced, example "")" all around. Looks like you didnt put much effort, copied it probably and changed a few words, try to hide your hiding.

7. Get rid of your ugly free banners. Or learn to place them correctly
and choose good ads.

8.Intro's page links dont work, dont provide people with swf's like as listed there, FLA's you have to provide

In conclusion, I hate it, I agree with Axe, and, I would never Buy hosting from you as it looks "fishy" and distasteful.

Like others have said above, the layout of the site looks like a mish-mash (is that a word? :lol: ) of several templates. It looks unbalanced and there is no flow to the page.

What is that pop-up all about? It's just a logo from what I can see. Put it on your main page if you intend to keep it. Otherwise its just annoying. Pop-ups should serve a purpose - this one doesn't.

The flashing text in the header area is a bit of an eye-sore, I'd change that. I think consistency shoud be the key here (and on any site) - regarding colors, fonts, page transitions, etc. And make your forum a similar layout to your main site. At least use the same colors (CSS?).

As for code etc, I'll not comment on that - I'll let some of the more experienced OZZU peeps take care of that for you. My review is simply user-based.

Re. the domain name - it has obviously been derived on the foundations of the 1and1.com hosting company. Quirky yes, unique no.

I hope you found my comments useful - best of luck with everything.
