We've just created a new tool/website at http://www.aardvarkmap.net

The design is deliberately simple, to hopefully reflect the simplicity and ease with which you can create maps for your own site.

Opinions welcomed.

I had a quick look!

I got bored after about the 5th page.

To many instructions spread out over too many pages.

could you not have more info on the start page?

The site has been re-designed since you posted. The instructions are now expandalabe as you wish. ie. you can have short instructions that tell you the basics of each step, or you can expand the help if you require additional assistance.

What do you think now?

Hey Aaron

The new layout works much better. :)

Most users will not embark on a project like this until they have an overview of the whole process, now that you can quickly tab through the process and see the end result I think more people will use this service.

Good Idea for a site!

good luck

If you get the chance can you check out http://www.new-webs.biz and post to the review @ ozzu. (thanks)

I use Safari on Mac OS X, as I build my map and get to step 1 "Create / Edit map & plot your markers" I'm unable to submit the form using the Jump to button. Otherwise, I like the simple design, colors and the funky tabs

I actually enjoyed the use of the site. I live in Las Vegas, NV, so i created a fast map, with hotel listings. I added in Hotels and a few other ones, making several maps. Used all three of the codes it gave. Brilliant idea.

I can really see this website being targeted to a younger audience or schoolteachers more then a business user though, looking to make a map.

That would be one thing to keep in mind. The layout over well is great though depending on what target audience you are going after.

Thanks, James... sorry, I don't quite get the last bit of your post. What is it that you'd like me to do at your site?

Thanks, Anaster... will look into that.

Ryan... glad you liked it. Would be interested to see what you created if you don't mind posting the links.
