http://www.advanceflash.net

This is a flash based ecommerce site to showcase and sell video loops and motion graphics. The site was chosen to be made in flash because our target audience was mainly flash designers with fast connections who like to see a bit of eye candy. The backend is done using php/xml and mysql.

Any comments or bug reports would be great, thanks, Jay. :)

nice effects on your site. I really need to get into afterEffects. Your site
is easy to use, and simple navigation for a flash commerce site. You've
done well with that part ,which is most important next to the products.

good stuff.

good site. Very nice layout. I like how your shopping cart is just right there. Make it really simple. One thing though, what screen resolution do you work on? I run 1600x1200 on a 21" monitor and the text is really hard to see. I have to squint to read it. Wondering fi anyone else hve the same problem or is it just my eyes going bad. LoL.

Hey,

I love the site!

It's seems a little slow or laggy to me, but overall it runs smooth. Have you started to market the site yet? Have the search engines picked it up? It's a great site, but being made it flash makes it hard to be found by potential customers using search engines.

You might want to consider putting content in the form of an HTML link or links below the flash coding itself. That would help the search engines pick up a bit more information from your site.

Keep up the good work!

The site is filled with lots of eye-candy!

- The flash is very nicely done. Subtle and subdued, it doesn't make me go cross-eyed like some sites :)
- Nice layout, easy to navigate

Suggestions,
Make the text larger or allow the user the resize the text. It is to small for comfort -- and make it a little darker, too.
I had a hard time getting the gist of your site. I understand that you are trying to sell flash motion effects, but I could not find any except the one on your welcome page. All the links I navigated to are simply stills.
I understand that I am probably missing something, but I also understand that I am probably not the only one.

Keep up the good work. The site is nicely designed and the flash accurately reflects and conveys someone who really knows their stuff. Tie up a few loose ends and you are set to sail!

Hi Tirian, you are the 3rd person not to find a preview button, this is when i always take action, on the 3rd strike :D

Please, if you have time, take another look and see if the product sections are improved.
Thanks to everyone for there comments, i really apreciate it, cheers, Jay.

A very nice improvement. Even I can't miss the preview button now!

Although the preview button is very nicely placed, it doesn't seem to do anything. Am I missing something else? I clicked on an image and then on the preview button but nothing happened.

Let me know what I missed and I would be happy to take another look.

it opens a smaller popup window with a working preview of
the animation you selected. You must have javascript disabled.
