Please look at the site and give me some feedback. I have been limited in certain areas by what my client wanted but would welcome some ideas

Thanks

Clean site, but you could put some flash in there, for example in the profile section replace the static pics with a slideshow made in flash...

Good God, stop telling people to use Flash for every little thing!

As for the site, I really think it's too plain. The design doesn't convey anything about the band, and the text images look rough and unprofessional.

I wouldn't care how hard the band rocked, the Web site would turn me off to them.

I highly suggest a design theme that lines up with thier music. A few graphics wouldn't hurt. Change the copy, too. Repeating the band name as the first words in every sentence makes it boring to read.

Good job ! i like the font you had used , and it really matched the site however, when viewed in 800 x 600 resolution , the navigation at the bottom looks too jumbled up. Moreover , Sites with navigation at the bottom does not attract visitors, since they had to scroll all way down.

One of my pet peeves is intro pages. Other than that looks good.

White and Blue is ok, maybe come up with a CSS and spice it up with some flash or something to make it look out.

Nice and clean, but opening the music in Quicktime isn't good.
A nice compact Flash music player would be better.

I like the simple layout - easy to navigate and uncluttered.

The blue on white seems a bit clean and bright for a rock band site though - not to mention a bit glaring on the eyes - a darker background or a faded monochrome background image might work.

Biggest criticism though would be where's the sound? I want to know what they sound like without having to download an mp3. I'm not sure about sites that play a background soundfile when you open the site though - some people like to look at this stuff at work when maybe they're supposed to be doing other things and may not want a soundfile announcing what they're up to...

But a fairly prominent play button on the home page (that toggles to an off button) would be good.

The graphics text looks way to pixilated, it needs some smoothing out. Other than that I like it. although as others have already said some sound somewhere would be nice.

I agree with the play sound thing. Will add some sound with on/off feature soon. As far as I know the MP3s should play, but didn't know they would open Quicktime. They are certainly not intended to do that, I will look at that and try to sort it out.

I know what your saying about splash/intro screens, it happens to be one of my bug bears too.

Cheers
