Hi,

I'm thinking about changing the design of the Rate the models website
http://www.ratemodels.net
which is basically
- Models contest , currently running Model of Spring 2006 100$ prize
- Glamour models free gallery ( no nudity )
- Amateurs and amateur models hot or not image rating with 100$ bi-monthly prize
- Discussion forum

Comments are welcomed

First of all, you need to change the background color. Usually black is associated with porns. That models rating should be somehwere else. It doesn't fit in and it's annoying. Maybe place it to the left. You should use graphics for your menu instead of text. A little more organization would help. And man, those girls are hot!

Use a white background (make it seem innocent) plan the layout better, because at first glance the site is so busy I wasnt sure where to look (maybe that was all the ladies distracting me)

A good start which needs work.

try if you can show your page without scrolling sideways on a 800x600 screen.
everythingelse is fine.

Thanks for the great feedback guys !

I'll be reworking the design to reduce scrolling and make it mostly white

You rock !

Had a problem with some of the models pictures on the homepage being cut off (could be because I am using IE7).

I notice that you took the advice re the white background for the homepage. I would recommend doing the same for the Forums page. Is there any reason for the Forum's page opening in another window? The banner for the Forum is questionable as it just shows some buildings. Couldn't quite understand the reason for this.

If you go to one of the album pages the navigational bar on that page looks great. Why not put that on the homepage?

For me, there is just too much advertising on your homepage. Why not remove it from your homepage and have it in your gallery pages? Most people (men) will want to look at the gallery pages and the homepage should just give them a tease. Too much advertising makes the site look cheap (I mean "The Fart Button"... what were you thinking?).

I would spell check this:

"Vote for Model Contest ! Don't vote more than once each 2 hours or ur vote will be canceled!"

Could be a good site once it is cleaned up. Everyone loves a modelling contest!

Great web site. Although a uniform background color would be a good thing. Other than that looking good.
