Any feedback on this site would greatly help. I plan on adding a forum and live chat in the future. Also there will be a new flash banner that will be very nice that I will have designed in the near future.
Thank you for your time.

Why has no one commented or given any type of feedback. It seems people are avoiding this post. I don't understand. Did I not follow the rules concerning getting my site reviewed?

YOu did follow the rules otherwise I would have locked this thread. Maybe ppl just don't have any comments. Or maybe you should post the actual URL? Are you referring to the one in your signature?

What? That is the actual URL. What do you mean the actual URL? Why would you assume it is not the actual URL. I ask for a site review and list a URL it doesn't seem at all confusing to me.

Hi,

Dont really know where to start :!: The main problem with your website is that the NET is already cluttered with millions of other poker affiliate websites, of varying quality. A 10 second search on Google and you'll find sites such as ...

http://www.pokerfan.com/
http://www.pokercasinoguide.com/
http://www.pokerlistings.com/

Running an affiliate poker site is a heavy overhead :? Dont expect to make any / much money from the affiliate links you have :( Although I know the webmaster of this rather poor website ...

http://www.pokerhouse.co.uk/

... and he got a 1-off payment of £700 when a user clicked a link-through and lost a fortune playing online. But he's been plugging this website for years :!: :!: ... but you may get lucky.

In short, I spend many hours surfing the NET (sad but true  ) and unfortunately your domain is a bit forgettable. The text looks like it has been cut & paste from other websites :?: :?: :?: and its hard to offer direction. Don't add a forum, it will only highlight the fact your probably not getting many visitors.

Dont give up :!: One of my first developments was a poker affiliate website  Just dont expect to much from this development. If your going to try and compete in such a crowded marketplace you need something very original and it needs to look the part.

Keep this website but try to think of another idea for your next development.

Good luck.

Cheers, Prime

PS> Dont take it personally, life is a long learning curve :P

Thank you for the comments. Much you say is true. A very congested market. I wonder about a few things though. What do you mean by the text looks cut and pasted. I wrote it all myself in a text app then pasted onto webpage, but the CSS controls what all the text looks like so it would look no differant had I typed it on webpage. Also I have only had the site up only a little over 4 months and I get around 1000 unique visitors per month. I don't think that is bad. Everything on the site other than the affiliate banners is original.

What you say about the market being overloaded it quite right. I write a new article every week on an aspect on texas hold'em strategy. These are new original content which I hope over time will help improve the site.

As that's the case, perhaps try to make it more obvious. The first thing that catches my eye when the page loads is your animated Titan Poker affiliate banner. What you say about your own site is lost in a dreary sea of text. Think of your homepage is a product pamphlet/brochure, an attention-grabber that must *immediately* make clear to visitors what exactly sets your site apart from all the rest; otherwise, they just might not stick around long enough to find out. As you're using CSS to style the text, changing the style is a simple matter. Consider adding a styled <span> around the bit where you state you add fresh, original content every week. Make it grab my attention and keep it.

I thought this site was very well done! One thing I would like to find are those Lizard sunglasses worn @ WSP. Found them wholesale once on Internet for I think $3.00/ea. which if I could find again would happily pay $12+. Not sure if you might be interested in adding a little retail. Sunglasses/T-shirts etc. Just a thought that might give a little attraction to site, but otherwise excellent site!
