you're well on your way. It would be cool if you could get rid of a lot of that space. Try looking at it with a newspaper layout point of view.

Wow! You seem to have lots of ideas and a ton of content, good for you...and what an interesting idea for a site :)

The main problem I see, though, is that it feels really disorganized, like there's just content strewn everywhere. Panreach was right on the nose with the newspaper layout suggestion. You seem to be designing for those with smaller monitors, which is good, but layouts like that tend to look messy if not contained.

A few other things, though they may just be me being nit-picky:

Watch for spelling errors. Few things can make a site look as unprofessional as misspelled words.

Don't bother with the cute little "under construction" graphics. These have always screamed "Angelfire homepage" to me. A simple "Coming Soon!" on an otherwise textless page works just as well.

The neon green text is a bit tough to read on the textured background you've got. You might try that in a darker color.

All in all, you've got a good start! Most of the time, content is the hard part...now you get to have fun designing :wink:

ditto. I would clean it up a lot, but I don't think I would recco the newspaper idea. I would look at media in your field such as car magazines. You seem to focus on exotics and imports so I would look at mags related to that such as import tuner, sport compact car, european car, etc.

also, where you have the following text:

"In the exotic section you will find cars such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche and many"

you have graphics overlapping it.

maybe you should get rid of that background first and use something plain for it, like a fixed background with a motion blurred car at the bottom-left.

try using tables more often, like:

Code: [ Select ]
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="80%" align=center>
<tr>
<td width=50% valign=top>
this is blah, blah, blah...
</td>
<td width=50% valign=top>
<img src=car.jpg>
</td>
</table>
  1. <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="80%" align=center>
  2. <tr>
  3. <td width=50% valign=top>
  4. this is blah, blah, blah...
  5. </td>
  6. <td width=50% valign=top>
  7. <img src=car.jpg>
  8. </td>
  9. </table>

yes, it'd be great if you can:
- change background ( impossible to read: too colorfull :D )
- change font (Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif ; 12 px)

Good luck :)

well the only thing i like is the idea. Honestly i don't like the site layout(if there's any). The patterned bg just don't cut it. I'd lose it if i were you.
The auto gear header just doesn't fit. It has this kinda alien feel to it cuz of the green. I don't think your site is about that. Header is the first thing someone sees when they go to your website, at least make that attractive.

Just to let you know iframes are not supported by some browers but i'm just tellin cuz i use it too.

The text on the bg is a bit hard on the eyes. Don't stretch images. It looks ugly and unprofessional.
that's it. that's all i have to say.
Overall good idea. You need more pics for the cars. I can supply you...lol
Good luck
