I think you should use the <img> command rather then shoving it into a table cell to display it. I think you should have an amount that fills up only HALF of the sidemenu height.

It should say "Welcome to Azoundria" instead of "Welcome" and "Azoundria" in two seperate sections. Otherwise I wouldn't have a clue what your website is.

Ever thought about using or making a CMS for your website? It would make it a lot easier to manage all your content. As for the question about making the logo, you use a image tool, such as Paint, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks, etc. I would recommend Adobe Photoshop.

And i've noticed quite a fair lot of items on your website that are "Under Construction". Don't put them up till their done! Don't even put the links or have the page say "Under Construction". This gives a really bad impression to visitors, and makes them think you are someone who starts something and doesn't finish it.

What did you mean about the <img> command thing? I should create an image instead of putting it as the background of a table cell? This makes it a lot more difficult to create a texture or to put text in front of the image. I do not even know how I would make that work.

With the top I am tryign to have the main titlebar that says Azoundria and a sub-title bar for each section.

I guess I am going to have to learn to use photoshop.

The only sections under construction are ismywebsite and exploring azoundria(i think). IsMyWebsite maybe shouldn't be there but it was once a finished section before I decided to make it a homepage as well. I left it up so people could continue to register domains for it and see if they like it. Exploring Azoundria is up so people can pre-register and I can test easily and have others test it and get suggestions so it will be almost perfect by 2006.

Ok. I have finally finished a great deal of IsMyWebsite and would appreciate review on it.

http://www.ismywebsite.com

Did you figure out what it was easily?
Would you use it?
If not, why not?
Any features I might add?
Anything needs changing in the design?

Did you figure out what it was easily? Not really, took a good look.

Would you use it? Yeah whynot.

If not, why not?......

Any features I might add? Maybe more high quality images, seems all your sites have low quality graphics.

Anything needs changing in the design? Not really.

So you didnt figure out what it was. Did you see the New Here section?

If it was too hard to understand or too long I shortened it a good 3 paragraphs and fixed one error near the end that could have caused a great deal of confusion.

The domain part of new here is not finished because i am working on a new domain manager and do not want to say I have lots of features that arent ready yet.

At least "I" understand it :P
Great, except this error everytime I search: "Javascript is disabled on your computer. Click Here". I don't seem to be able to search "ANY" without that error popping up everysingle time. Very inconvenient. Better fix it soon!

It still says Javascript is disabled? I thought I changed it to say 'You will be forwarded to the correct page' or something. Anyways I will look into it but my host's server appears to be down(even their homepage) for now.

Update:
Yes I did fix it. But you must have seen it before that.

I apologize but I cannot get rid of that page. It is the page that processes what you type and forwards you to the appropriate page.

Not sure what else I could do unless I used javascript to process as you submit but that would be way to complicated and I have no idea how to do anything but alerts in javascript.

Update:
Oh that was in go.php. It still says that in gotodomain.php. I have moved everythign done in gotodomain.php directly into go.php to cut down on the time taken to go to a domain.

Anything else anyone notices? And I had revised the New Here since he last saw it so it might explain your understanding while he didn't.

Very Nice. Love the logo. Getting on great! Except, what's with the site preferences? It's very confusing...

On the homepage of IsMyWebsite, there is this link that says "Load Hompage". I click that then type in my website (http://www.sharepixel.com) and then it takes me to another page with heaps of settings and things. It also let's me change the colours of the website, etc.

Sweet! I love the options on the homepage that allow you to look up IP, Whois, email, etc. Just, too many images. It's overloading it a bit.

I kind of got rid of that custom homepage thing. It will come back later as something else but having google is a frameset I found out is illegal and it probably is for just about every site. Also, lots of sites have scripts that take over the frameset.

So too many images. What can I do about this? I dont really want to sacrifice number of tools easily accessible. Is there anything else I could do?

Yea, I agree. Possibly you could make them smaller maybe? I don't know. It's up to you...

I was thinking of another solution which came to me a short while ago.

Since getting rid of frontpage tasks downsizes the usability and easiness, and reduces the 'Go Anywhere' effect it does not seem a plausable option.

I could take advantage of the overwhelmingness by opening the introductory paragraph with the title 'Overwhelming?'. Of course I would have to change the paragraph a bit.

This paragraph would compare the vastness of the web with my tough pick of the most commonly used tools. It would also explain that tools all work independant of eachother and that it is really very simple.

If you agree this would work to get people using it Ill get started.

Im not sure what else I could do.
