SITE REVIEW: UK Bands Online

This is my current project, its nowhere near finished but i wanted to know what you think of the general look and feel of the page/menus etc.

Does it look like a site that you'd feel happy signing up to? One that you'd want to come back to?

I dont know what you've got on there, but I've been sitting here for about 20 seconds looking at a blue background and your website is still loading up. Whatever you have there, make it smaller and make it load faster because not a lot of people have time to wait around.

I don't like the blue background, it doesn't fit with your menu style. I suggest that you change your background with a dark colours.

I have to agree with everyone here about not liking the colour scheme... it needs some work. Also, the page doesn't look properly centered. There seems to be more empty space on the right than the left...

I like it. I think those box headings like "Latest News" are a cool idea. I was disappointed the menu on the left didn't give a visual indication of the item you could select.

Nice content boxes, although the navigation, colour scheme and top logo are not alll that. Keep at it though, as there is potential!

I agree about the comments about the blue background. The colour used seems too much like a crude blue, and I think a lighter tone which is not one hundred percent blue (#000099), but has some red and green would make the site look more proffesional, and less like an amateur site.
