Congrats,

You put it together , that's the first step.

I would first try to develop a color scheme , I see you are using different colors that don't exactly work well with each other.

You are heading in the right direction

Great first effort nmyers. If you are going to make your site a longer-term project (i.e. post 2005) then I would consider taking the '2004-2005' out of your title, and maybe put it in the 'festivals' description?

So your site would simply be 'Beer and Festival Guide', or something like that?

I'd make your pages consistent across the site in terms of font, style and colors. Not sure if the colors on the home page would stay in that combination too long if I had anything to do with it! :)

Best of luck with the site.

I've just said on another review that I used 2 monitors, one of which is 800x600 and a lot of people still use this screen resolution. When I entered onto your site you could scroll to the right for quite some time but it seemed fine on the other pages, maybe something to check out and corrent.

Yup get rid of horizontal scroll bar on home page
get rid of
blockquote>
<blockquote>
<blockquote>
<blockquote>
<blockquote>
<blockquote>
within the code and use tables (for a start) to position pics on screen

and try to be consistent with text
remember the colour of link text change once click (you can control this)

Keep it up !!
