SITE REVIEW: Beginner SEO Tutorials - seono1.co.za

Hi,

I have recently created a SEO web site to help beginners learn the fundamentals of SEO.

On the site is great original SEO articles, tips and case study.

This is a work in progress, so I will continue adding more content.
I'm currently working on how to choose keywords and what free tools to use.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Oh my word ... 112 errors ... check the w3c for the validation results ... click here to see them ... Please note that these were on your homepage alone ...

Your homepage is really really long ... I think you can shorten it a lot ...

Then please disable the link of the page that a user is on for example if a use is on the "My experience" page, make the "my experience link unclickable and another colour ...

Please also invest time in some rollovers for the navigation ... I think that'll already make a big difference in the design ... and don't forget to preload them when you do, because people like us here in SA don't always have very fast internet connections ...

Do you really have to have all those ads? Isn't the maximum google ad placement per page 3 anyway? I see you've got 4 on a page ...

I think you could also ask someone to help you check the grammar on your site, because things like " Example of how a directory look:" is not very good english, that phrase should read something like "Example of what a directory looks like:" ...

Please won't you also put a title of each page at the top somewhere, so users can know where they are on the page, because I just didn't know on which page is was right now ...

And sorry I don't agree with "riya_senk" here ... the site doesn't look nice and clean to me ... it looks confusing, because there are ads everywhere and just now I didn't know which page I was on etc etc ... also there is a bit of a lack of design skill there (buttons don't match anything, banner doesn't look good) ... please don't take these comments up as negative, I'm just saying what I'm seeing ...

I think I learned something, But I would agree with the above. Needs some background color. The menu could be less "bright" and more interactive. I dig your Header though.

Really useful site! I have read over some of the articals and they have helped me, well done on creating easy to read guides.

I agree with the above posts that they look is not perfect and I also found some of the menu links don't work but this maybe because you haven't added those pages yet.

hi, when you have more time, perhaps you should do some work regarding the graphics. graphics may not be so important to search engine but they certainly play a part for human visitors.... that's my 2 cents...
