First-there is NO way that you will have PR in a month. You would be more realistic to expect 4-6 months if you are building a lot of inbound links. Second-for SEO, kill your tables and go to a CSS layout. Also kill the following meta tags:

Code: [ Select ]
<meta http-equiv="keywords" content="web development, directory, tutorial, ASP, ASP.NET, CGI, Perl, PHP, php script, JavaScript, java script, CSS, Graphics, Macromedia Flash, Web Hosting , Hosted Components, catalog, catalogue, soft, scripts, hosting, free hosting, asp, asp.net, php, cgi, java script, flash">
<meta http-equiv="description"content="Web Site Development Resources Directory: BestCatalog.net. ASP, ASP.NET, CGI and Perl, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, Graphics, Macromedia Flash, Web Hosting , Hosted Components and Services">
<meta name="robots" content="index,follow">
<meta name="resource-type" content="document">
<meta name="document-state" content="dynamic">
<meta name="revisit-after" content="1 days">
<meta http-equiv="charset" content="ISO-8859-1">
<meta http-equiv="content-language" content="english">
<meta name="author" content="info@bestcatalog.net">
<meta name="copyright" content="BestCatalog.net">
  1. <meta http-equiv="keywords" content="web development, directory, tutorial, ASP, ASP.NET, CGI, Perl, PHP, php script, JavaScript, java script, CSS, Graphics, Macromedia Flash, Web Hosting , Hosted Components, catalog, catalogue, soft, scripts, hosting, free hosting, asp, asp.net, php, cgi, java script, flash">
  2. <meta http-equiv="description"content="Web Site Development Resources Directory: BestCatalog.net. ASP, ASP.NET, CGI and Perl, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, Graphics, Macromedia Flash, Web Hosting , Hosted Components and Services">
  3. <meta name="robots" content="index,follow">
  4. <meta name="resource-type" content="document">
  5. <meta name="document-state" content="dynamic">
  6. <meta name="revisit-after" content="1 days">
  7. <meta http-equiv="charset" content="ISO-8859-1">
  8. <meta http-equiv="content-language" content="english">
  9. <meta name="author" content="info@bestcatalog.net">
  10. <meta name="copyright" content="BestCatalog.net">

And don't just repeat your KWs in your description. I looked briefly through your other code and it looked like even though you used an external CSS you used tags in the HTML to change the text appearance in areas. It was quick so I could be wrong. Anyway that should get you started.

Well, you have come at an unlucky time my friend, I got bored of telling people how inefficient their code was and just wrote a script to <b>show</b> them. You get to be first to run through it :D So looky here:

http://www.caffeinefuelled.net/tools/ta ... tructure=1

The top bit, 26kB for the <b>html</b>. That is huge. Only <b>10%</b> of that is useful body content for the SE spiders. I'm currently working with my site being around 40% and up (with ~10k of code) for most of the pages. All that code clogs up the spiders reading the page.

33 tables and 70 tds again indicates a lot of code and most of it is redundant, if you look at the altered vesion of your layout the red lines all indicate a table cell. Now tell me how many of those are needed and how many are redundant.

Next problem for SEO is that you are not using semantic markup. For headers you need to be using keyword rich <b>header</b> tags, not <strong> tags.

Now onto keywords. From what I understand you are using far to many. You need to target a few (3-5) keywords for each page. In your title you should be focussing on these, not putting in the site name. You could do with keyword-rich content on the front page as well. The only bit of prose is right down the bottom of the code, and pretty small.

If you are serious about SEO then there is a lot you need to be looking at. I'm also new to it and can see all these potential problems. I would suggest you spend some time around ozzu's very own search engine section - some of the guys there really know their stuff, I've learned loads from them. Also check out seo guy's tutorial:

http://www.seo-guy.com/tutorial.html

I have to add this, I don't know how relevant it is to the SE's, but that is an awful lot of errors:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http% ... log.net%2F

On a lighter note, the site looks nice and is easy to navigate, and generally easy to find information on, so you have the human side all sorted :D

Well, I am relatively new to SEO myself but here is what I can share with you thus far from my experience - take from it what you will:

The primary goal is to get your Title tag, Keywords, Description, Alt tags and Page Copy to speak the same "language" if you will - to relate. Search Engines feed off of similarities with those tags very well. Similarities with keywords and phrases, that is.

It doesn't hurt to REPEAT your key phrases and words throughout your site, in fact, I believe Microsoft's bCentral.com ranking service requires your keywords to repeated at least 4 times within the page copy.

The company I work for uses bCentral and I must say, our clients receive really great rankings (within the first two pages of google) in a short period of time.

Oops, forgot to mention something regarding the your website lol

Instead I just tried to answer your question. :oops:

Although there are un-necessary tables, I must say the look and feel of the site is ....awesome. And I don't say that about a lot of websites.

Your site is easy to navigate and my eyes ride through the websites color pallette and hierarchy very well. I am very impressed with this one. The feeling of professionalism is just oozing with this site. Fantastic job!

Oh yeah, going back to SEO - what jlknauff said about those extra tags is 100% on the dot - you don't need them whatsoever.

I also like that table-tool rtm223....can I use it? Pleeeeeasse? :wink:

Well technically I cannot stop you without taking it off the internet lol. Yeah, couse you can, just don't expect me to write a pretty ui (in fact, don't expect me to write any ui!) or decent error handling/validation for it. You just have to write the url manually ;)

Thank you very much guys!
I am not sure I'll be able to delete all un-necessary tables just because I can not re-write whole Indexu' code.

Anyway I'll continue my work over SEO and hope to develop good and popular site :))

Thanks again,
Nat

I dont your site at all. it gives me a weird feel.

your spaces are all messed up. I have only seen your index page.

have you noticed that your center portion of index page has much more space than the sides??

elsewhere is crammed with contents.

??

the blue in there is immerse and overwhelming too.

Try making you title a bit smaller it almost takes up the whole screen
Also to the left Try to think of a less cluttered way of posting those articles or whatever they are.
