SITE REVIEW: BNB Productions

No, no, it isn't really a site for an actual company paying me money. :P

My brother (he's 16) likes taping movies and things and directing them, so he asked me to make a site called BNB productions.

I just recently changed the server of the site.

Please give me some comments and/or ideas on how I can improve the site.

Right now, I really don't like the backround color. Originially it was a light blueish, but I was told to change it for some odd reason. :D

Any types of ideas are appreciated.

two things i would do to the site

1. change the page background to white
2. standardize the font. use verdana.

Changed the font to Tahoma because that is what is used on the other pages.

It is saying that the entire site has moved to a new server.Most of the contents are not there right now, so difficult to comment. Anyways, other have already said that the site should be consistent in design. So far, there doesnt seem to be any problem.

I don't think the bgcolour is that bad. I'd keep it

Your font colour I'd get rid of though, the one for the logo.

Add a title tag to your site. "Untitled-1" isn't exactly appropriate

The words "07 Nov 2004 by Russ" appear as straight text on all browsers BUT IE. Look into that. If you're using a script make sure it's cross browser compliant.

Your navbar mouseover effect works on all browsers but Opera.

On the movies page, your text is HUGE!! keep the text size consistent on all pages, also the text type.

Instead of using ">" use a bulleted list

Use meta data

Same thign I told others, if you're using jvs, use also a script to display text to those who have their jvs option turned off in their browsers.

Use css instead of inline font tags

I know you used ImageReady to slice your images, but maybe for future reference, you could rename some of your images so that it will be easier for someone else to edit the code, or maybe even yourself. Untitled.gif isn't exactly a great name for an image.

Otherwise I'd say you're on your way to a great start

I think the icons are a great touch. Though, I'm not crazy about the background color or the logo - which needs work.

You can move the logo up a bit and place it above the line rather than having it cross through it...it brings a bad visual.

The site just needs a few more retouches and it should be well on its way.
