Hi there,

I have just added a great tool to help you check your keyword ranking in 14 major search engines.

The Search Engine Ranker shows your position on 14 major search engines

(Alltheweb, AltaVista, Ask Jeeves, Entireweb, ExactSeek, Gigablast, Google, InfoSpace, KaZaZZ, Mamma, MetaCrawler, MSN, WebCrawler and Yahoo) for a keyword phrase.

Check it at Site Keyword Position Tracker

Any feedback will be appreciated

Thanks

Regards
L

First of all it looks like something out of 1995, what with all the white space, picturelessness and the default fonts. You should try centering the main content also.

Add some colour!

I agree with comment above. It looks like a very useful site, which has the potential to generate a lot of traffic, but it looks very boring. Spice it up a little.

Just tested my website, cool tool!

If you add some more popular search engines, the tool will be more useful.

It also seems to provide inaccurate results. MSN was shown as not showing my site in the top 100 for my primary keyword, yet it's been the number one result for a couple years.

Hey,

Having run a few tests I'd also doubt it's accuracy. Does it work properly with key phrases :?: An individual keyword isn't much use. One of my sites is page one on google for many derivatives of the words "ubuntu compaq laptop" - but doesn't appear on your results.

Cheers, Prime ... :D

It seems to be working fine for my three established websites

If I do a search for the keyword get a firm butt then I get the following results:

Altavista
3

Ask Jeeves
Not in Top 100

Entireweb
Not in Top 100

ExactSeek
Not in Top 100

Gigablast
Not in Top 100

Google
12

InfoSpace
Not in Top 100

Mamma
5

MetaCrawler
Not in Top 100

MSN
Not in Top 100

Teoma
Not in Top 100

WebCrawler
Not in Top 100

Yahoo
Not in Top 100

Test 2 - my website http://www.seono1.co.za - I will search the following keywords beginner seo tutorials

Result:

Altavista
78

Ask Jeeves
Not in Top 100

Entireweb
Not in Top 100

ExactSeek
Not in Top 100

Gigablast
Not in Top 100

Google
1

InfoSpace
9

Mamma
Not in Top 100

MetaCrawler
2

MSN
Not in Top 100

Teoma
Not in Top 100

Really cool functionality, but yeah... it definitely needs to be made more aesthetically pleasing. Even if you just did a few simple things like more modern looking table borders(or no borders), and a different font it would make a huge difference. A web 2.0 looking css based layout would really be nice for that type of site.
