SITE REVIEW: Csszone

Hey guys i just reciently finished a website the best ive done and all by myself.... wow..... anyways i used mambo and phpbb and Check the forums on the right panel click forums to access it

You are going to use a different template besides the default aren't you? I mean, you just installed Mambo on your server, and added a sentence of content. You haven't even customized it or anything. What is there to review?

geez even if you think it is a template it looks pretty cool, professional and well i like the colors like the all flow which is good
the navigation is like well plain and boring but i mean it does look proffessional.

Yes. it's one of the 3 default layouts in Mambo. It's the one I would chose, since I like dark stuff. Try to modify it a bit, so that it won't be that obvious.
I've tried Mambo, but I got some problems, so I started using Nuke instead.
Anyway .. it's a good system. Check for some skins and modify them, so that we really have what to review

I mean what is there to review when you did not...
- ...do the php or asp code.
- ...do the html code.
- ...even do the SQL or MySQL tables. It installed thru a script and autocreated.

Again, I am not putting in doubt you ca ndo it. But you did not... It's another case of lip-synkin'

That's what I was saying. There is absolutely nothing to review. You didn't even go through the effort of making your own logo. I know, because I have a friend who's site looks identical to yours, only he made his own logo, and he had a lot of content as well.

I like it but the gay banner at the top...

I think it's a good start for him. I've talked to Skirge over email etc. and I think that so far, things are going pretty well, it takes time to learn things and doesn't just come by itself.
