Ok, I have customized my new digital forum at http://www.3dgamics.com/forum I am trying to figure out how to go about getting members to it. I have considered hiring people to post, but that is just cheesy.

Anyways, id like to know design wise, load time wise, and topic wise how the forum looks to you all.

Thank you for your time, and am awaiting replies!

unfortunatly there's only so much one can say about a forum. They all look the same pretty much by design. So that really leaves us with the colors. The red is very overpowering and makes it hard to focus on the actual content. I recommend looking at some more soothing colors. Notice this forum is mostly shades of gray which keeps the actual content as the most important object on the page.

While I agree the red is a tad strong, this forum I find to be extremely hard to find because nothing seperates each posts really.

the red is too strong - I found myself struggling to notice the content.

The design should compliment or enhance the user's experience not distract from it!

The best way to get members to your forum is to talk or have a topic that will atract people. And you're right, hiring people is chessy.

Well, I do talk and new members join everyday, but I mean is their like some place to get tons of traffic from? Would banner adverts be best?
