I took on the job for design update over the next three months.

here is the current: http://www.dwhs.com

here is the proto-type for the new: http://www.dwhs.com/test.htm

The focus is ease of use, professional and modern, a path to check out easily.

I will add rollovers, css, maybe java drops, and the body under the people will change completely.

THANKS!

Just had a quick look at the new homepage.

First impressions Are it's much easier on the eye. Very well layout.

I realise that you have a good deal of information to display and the tabs at the top combined with the left navs make the info easy to reach.

One thing I would Say is if you intend to go with this you are better off keeping the exact same nav layout on every page with clearly labeled page Headers.

There is so much info it's easy to loose track of where you are on the old site.

Over all I think i'ts a Huge improvement.

Personally, I think a combination of the old AND the new will give you the best results.

I really like the People in the new layout. They give the page a warm and enviting feel. But I miss the square package ads directly under them. I think the services you offer get lost in the sea of text on the new page. The old page and the white squaes look good and prfessional and are actually EASIER to read, process and understand than the new text driven bit.

So, use the OLD site with the NEW people and I think you have it made :)

You are on the right track. I like the use of rounded corners. The contrast may be hard on the eye. Try playing with some other colors.

If you keep the same colors try adding some more padding around the columns in the main content area.

I prefer your current style, but you do have some elements in the new one which are also good.

Mix it about and them come back :)

First impression, the new design takes up less room allowing more info to be on the "first screen." I like it better.

Second impression... the new design is just more friendy, even though the graphics on the old design are quite cool, they are not as welcoming. I wonder if it's just because of the picture of the lady? Not sure.
