http://www.economy-cal.com

I have built this site to help people plan and organize their home budget. It lets you produce reports and keeps your history. All for free.

What do you think of the domain name? How does the site looks? Would you use it - keep in mind its free.

My plan is to earn few $$ with googe ad sense.

Any comment is appreciated.

I like the simple design. I think it provides very simple and straightforward navigation. The only thing I dislike are actually google ads. I think you should stylize them a bit. Get them into the environment of the website. I do not know about the idea...don't think many ppl would use it. Anyways good luck.

1) When I first go to the site, there is nothing that says "This is what we do".

A single tag-line, that says "Online software that helps you manages your portfolio" would be really useful.

2) The username and password put me off from clicking anyplace else. It looks like a portal to a companies internal website, rather than something a regular user could sign up for.

You need two large coloured boxes - the first says SIgn up for free, the other says Existing members Login. one big and blue, the other big and green.

3) The single tag line DOES exist - "Helping you control your financial affairs", I just didn't see it even when looking for it.

It needs to stand out.
