SITE REVIEW: evenhosting.com

Hello,
I have recently started this website up and would like to know what everyone thinks of it, what does it need. What is it doing well ect. I really apreciate your expert oppinions and advice

It looks just like one of those templates that you see advertized across the web.

Don't take this personally, but if I were in the market for a new host, wouldn't trust my hard-earned cash and web site to a company that uses one of those templates, I'd feel more comfortable with a company that has obviously designed it themselves...

The basic design is ok, but it looks exactly like one of those other templates done by some anonymous designer.

Sorry, I wasn't impressed at all.

First, I get an information, that I need to install the Flash-Plugin. Why a Flash-Plugin? I canceled it. Now I have two empty places in the top of your site. Very nice

Then I clean my glasses, the font you use is very small and I can't resize it with Microsoft Internet Explorer. After that I visit your topics "About us" and "Contact". I doesn't find any mailing address, I'm not happy about this.

So I think it's better to search for an other company.

I'd have to 100% agree with what C.C. said above. You've clearly gone and got yourself a template and jumped on the hosting bandwaggon.

You have no individuality, and something else stuck out for me. You have the following "testimonial" on your homepage.



I find it very hard to believe this feedback, especially as your domain is only (today) 1 month old... Do you smell fish?

Flash is an established, reliable way of embedding animation and added functionality into an otherwise barren web site, thats why.

Um, thats why you were supposed to allow the plugin to load, eh

As the site owner stated, he had..."recently started this website", so it stands to reason that not all of the web site might be completely functional, right??

If I use the <object>-tag to insert a Flash animation into a site, there is a place where I can use an <img>-tag with an image. This image will shown if Flash is not available and there are no empty places...

I was thinking exactly the same thing.

And one more thing : how can I stop that music !?!

I hate the audio. I would change the font to verdana 8pt.
Other than that the site looks ok in firefox

i would recomend taking the music out

I've seen that template before, used by many hosts. It doesn't impress me at all. I go for a host with some finesse and individuality. But if you must use this template, then get rid of that Music, its more suited to a nightclub website, then a "Professional" webhost.
