Definitely not bad for a first try. The graphics are all very well done and the site has plenty of content.
The opening page does take a while to load on slower connections. Consider some image slicing or resizing.
Also, the color scheme for the fonts seems to change on each page and most of them do not match the header. Lime green font would, of course, not be a good idea, but I'm sure you can find something that will work to compliment it.
Awesome job for your first try (I had no idea what JavaScript or CSS were when I created my first site... :icontongue: ) and good luck with it!

I agree with geekette on alot of the stuff she stated, one thing I was semi dissappointed with was that the splash page looks awesome, then you split off into a tabled/framed page with a grey backround that looks a little bland. Haven't really looked at the content yet but maybe some pictures on the main page? or white background? or how about a picture of the twins as a single faded watermark behind?

Oh and geekette, did you pick the salmon one?! :-D

The bottom frame is grey on my compuer :-/

By splash page I mean the opening page that you click the picture to get into the main page.

If you have an image you want to be the watermark, just use Image>Adjustments>Brightness and Contrast, then turn the brightness up till it gets to a good faded zone.

Checked out some content, looks like you have enough to keep viewers interest :)

Like the lime greenish color. What is with those girls and eating apples? Very good for a first! I like it! When you first go to the site, the main picture, the text on the right side is hard to see, maybe choosing a different text or highlight color? I like the fonts you used. I like the site! im out

The graphics are all very well done and the site has plenty of content.
But you are waisting webspace by adding outer black border.
Loading speed is OK. website will have good look if you change the font type....

This is quite nice for first design... the first thing I don't like is the little space on top... you need more space above logo and menu, and try to organize the content better... it looks messy and stuffed...

Hope I was helpful... keep the good work :)
