SITE REVIEW: Frozen Flame Entertainment

Site URL: http://www.frozenflamegames.com

Hello all,

This is the site for our game development company we are trying to start up, Frozen Flame Entertainment. For right now, we wanted a simple layout to give people general information about us, our projects, and our progress on those projects.

Thank you.

Hi, I like the simple design of the website. However im not a big fan of the rolling text which I think you should remove. And I dont know about the linkbar, but everytime I need to click on a link I need to activate it with another click.

Hmm, as per the navbar: Are you using Internet Explorer?

The old forums skin didnt work at all resolutions, so I took parts of it out to make it simpler...but I tried to make the marquee look a bit techier..

FWIW, the first thing that caught my eye is the rolling text. I would remove it as anything that moves is distracting, and it takes a while to read. Surfers have no patience! Best to tell them what the site is all about right away, first sentence or paragraph.

I also have fixed the url...it was set so that http://frozenflamegames.com redirected to index.frozenflamegames.com:3000; this was because I couldnt access port 80 with apache, I thought it was my ISP. However, random exploration of my firewall software led to to find that you have to manually enable web, ftp, and email server ports here as well as on the router itself...so now it doesnt redirect anywhere and looks better (as far as in the URL box, methinks...). :D :)

That moving text has to go, its so distracting and FAST!

I like the simple design.

If it were me, wi would also un-italic the welcome text :)
