SITE REVIEW: gammalyrics.com - song lyrics archive

Hello there,

I would like to showcase you a website that I have recently launched - http://gammalyrics.com. It's a result of a close work with a designer and programmer and we're more than happy with our final work.

As we've just started out, we're still lack of content, so don't be surprised if you can't find some lyrics. However, we're building up the content with daily updates and soon you should find each song lyric.

I would like to hear your comments regarding our website structure, content and evaluation of our work! I hope your constructive criticism will help us to improve our website.

I don't like to color of your adsense ad unit.
adsense title, discription and link color are same. It is problem to my eyes and I think this will also reduce your adsense income.

My suggestion:

Use light colors in description and link on adsense add unit.

Your home page title tag is not good for SEO.

Current title tag is
"Welcome to gammalyrics.com! - lyrics archive"

Remove 'welcome to Welcome to gammalyrics.com' and use your target keyword in Title tag.

Site looks pretty good. Adsense is blended in nicely.

That's real pretty!! I like your color combination. The layout is good. It looks pretty slick really. Good work

I particularly like the textured background, and the tag cloud. nice.

I think your site looks good. It's easy to navigate and find the lyrics, that's always a plus!

could you please tell me if the loading problem remains? If so, we'd investigate this with our hosting provider. or it might have been just a temporary slowdown.

But you shuld change the adsense link colors to white. I am positive that you would get more clicks by doing that.

Also, if the site is php you may add FreeContent.net news to each artist page. Like 50 cent news on the 50 cent page, akon news on the akon page, and so on.

What I meant to say is your 'search lyrics' field and everything below it doesn't seem to fit into the general scheme of the page. It looks to me like it should have been put on the left side 'ads by google'.
I like the site, at first it looked a little squished to the left.

it loads nice and fast on my line. I also like the layout - don't think it looks disbalanced or squished.

Hi, in my previous posts i mentioned that your site is slow in loading.I tried today in loading again and will not say slow now.It is fast.I think it was an temporary issue.Anyway good design and layout.Good luck!
