Hi,

Gecko is a new Framework/CMS build with new technologies like: HTML5/CSS3, PHP5, MySQL5 and jQuery. The product and many plugins/templates are now finish and ready for public.

I'm looking forward for some feedback a demo is available and everything should run fine.

Link: see below.

I also have a Affiliate Program:

Refer new users to JAKCMS Gecko and you’ll receive 30% of their first purchase! Every user automatically has a referral code. Simply paste a link or image button on your site using that code. If a new user clicks your referrer link and proceeds to sign up an account and purchase a license here on Gecko, you will receive 30% of that person’s first purchase price.

More details here: http://www.jakcms.net/referral-program

Thank you for taking time to review my site/product
Cheers
Jérôme Kaegi

Hey Enclave,

Stunning looking site as always :D

What's the difference between jakcms.com and jakcms.net? I see all references to HTML5 and CSS3 in the Gecko version, is this CMS meant for mobile devices? How much HTML/5 are you using? The fact I am having to ask the question is probably a problem. Also, you are using the phrase "cms/framework", which is it? If it's a CMS that people can write modifications for then you are perhaps better being more precise about it. A framework implies RoR, django etc... and I think they are totally different (?)

Lastly, monetising the site by charging a license fee is a bit risky? There's soooooooo much free stuff nowadays will peeps be willing to pay. Only time will tell but I'd be interested to find out.

Good luck.

Cheers

Thank you very much for your feedback!

The Gecko is probably more a CMS, thank you for the advice...

I'm using only HTML5 but it is working down to IE7 other Browser are supported as well of course but IE is always a problem you might know.

Well I need to earn some money as well, but I think the price is still fair and you get guaranteed support as long your license is active!

The site has been moved to the final domain: http://www.cmsgecko.com

Soon a spanish and german site will be available, the partner and affiliate program is quite interesting for others...

The advantage to others is quite big: Very rich in features, small in sizes (only around 450 files and 1.8mb) upgrading is then a peace of cake, many plugins already available, cool AJAX stuff and only 2-5 MySQL queries each page reload, perfect for any kind of hosting without lame down the server!

I also offer to develop any psd design into a html5 Gecko template, find more details here: http://www.cmsgecko.com/psd-html5

Cheers
