If that's the case, then how else will Photoshop output the layouts as?
Photoshop is quite capable of outputting your layout using only CSS...no tables at all.

IS IT!

Same here...I'm confused...I can have the option of not using tables and just css in photoshop? If not, how would I convert all those little table tags into div layer tags?

I have Photoshop 6 and CS2, if your version is older, it may not have this capability.

Slice your image, then select "Save for Web".

Select "Output Settings".

At the bottom is says "Slice Output".
Make sure that "Generate CSS" IS selected.

Boom...one layout using CSS, NOT tables.

I only have PS 6 on this laptop...I
ll check the desktop to see if CS2 has the option in the same place.

It's not there...but considering the increased use of CSS, I seriously doubt that they would leave the option out completely.

I'll do some looking for it later...got work to do.
