Its a great time.

For the other site:

Same draw, but i was hung on your flash intro.

It is not as tight as it could be.

Reduce the timeline by half, you are dealing with ADD people, who have been playing first person shooters since the early nineties.

Speed things up, make the flicker, explode the header and then bring it back.

Take your high quality model shots (300 dpi or better), slices then so they seem to float in the banner. Flicker them too.

For example look at my flash sites.

http://www.allatus.com

and

http://www.oxygenbardallas.com

See the flickering stuff? that's what i am taking about.

Your website has nice flow. The navigation is simple and so is the template but they look good. Those chicks are very hot and attractive too and will intise visitors to stay at your site. (Atleast me)

I'd spend more time customizing Miva. Out of the box Miva is hard on the eyes and has no personality.

On http://girlfriendslingerie.com
--Reduce the vert space between the category links (I wouldn't completely remove it, but half it)
--integrate the mailing list into the nav - use nice art as the header, not just a darker blue bg color
--in the right nav, buffer the testimonial, italicise the quote and indent the name/location
--

On http://ymproducts.com
--make the header flash write a cookie to the browser so it doesn't replay every single time any page in the whole store is loaded it kills me and everyone else omg it is so hard to wait for it to reload every page every time...hehe :)
--add 1px black border around the product/model images
--replace the images in the Flash w/ ones like you've got for the background -- ie. where the model is cut out of the background.

I stopped...sorry.

Like I said, out of the box Miva is so hard on the eyes...spend cash and hire a developer to tweak things. There are a huge number of small tweaks that can take these sites from dime-a-dozen to one-in-a-million.

Here's one that's pretty good: http://www.seemetees.com/listProducts.asp?idCategory=4
and the product detail page:
http://www.seemetees.com/ProductDetail.asp?idProduct=19

You'll also notice the header Flash DOES reload each time, but that's because it's got the rotating logo and it makes sense to reload each time. It's not replaying an intro.

If you have a high-res display at your disposal, maximise your browser window and view the site at 1600x1200. There are some wonky things going on where all your content is not centred. Like on the homepage, your content is centred, but your navbar is over to the left. On the product pages, your header and footer seem to be centred okay, but your content is over to the left.

Your "Free shipping" sign at the bottom of the pages is very aliased. Try using less compression when saving the jpg.

Ah, I see. About the content being centred, it looks like on some pages, the content is fully centred, but on others, it's centred between the left margin and the model in the lower right corner of every page. This gives the impression that it's over to the left a little, though not all the way up against the left margin.

Hth,
Gita
