SITE REVIEW: Global Ecology Studies Program

This is what I like to call an "interactive sketch" as to what the site will look like. It hasn't been animated, cms-enabled, or completed yet, but I'm curious as to what you guys think of the site thus far...

Nice look. I'm wondering about a footer. Seems the page has no "bottom"?
Also the Falcon Net dropdown (top right) -- doesn't close when you cursor away from it or even click away from it. It should.. Is that an oversight, or something you're still working on.?

Love the header graphic though....What are those? Parrots? Looks like a secrative chat between the two going on. Cool.

Aded note: Just checked the dropdown in IE 6.1 and same problem there too.

Footer - Yeah I haven't gotten so far as to even finish the bottom of the page lola , but yeah I was planning on a nice footer

Graphic - Yeah those are a couple parrots (Don't ask me what kind of parrot, iamb just the technology expert, not the environmentalist )

Parrots are cool, and that's a lovely picture in the header.

I really like the layout of this site. It's very clean and crisp. There isn't a huge amount to say as it is only a single page, but the read on buttons seemed a bit strange to me.

I'm not a fan of scrolling text boxes to be honest. But that aside, i felt that it was weird that it scrolls down a line even though it doesn't need to, the green "button" does not trigger the scrolling and there is no little hand cursor.

That is my entire critisism at the moment because this is a really nice site.

Beautiful site so far! Nothing bad to say so far, considering its only one page. I agree with the other guys I like the header
