Just redid my site after having someone review it. Would appreciate any comments of SEO value of site and looks. Please feel free to be as critical as you want as I am just learning and want to improve site.

Thank you for your time, and if you leave me a suggestion and tip on how to do it, much appreciated :0)

Nice site.
Your nav on home is different from others.
Could you get a distinct photo for banner?
The WETTS CERTIFIED line looks somehow. Maybe it is too embossed for where it is or maybe it is the color. I can't really pin point what is right about it. However, it is generally nice.

You can choose better image on the top of your web site. Also write phone numbers with html code anywhere in page,

It is a pretty nice looking site!

For the contact form, it looks like you are using phpform generator. To make it look like it still belongs within your site, duplicate your index page and remove all of the body text and copy everything between the <form>...</form> and paste it into the html in the body text of the duplicated page. It will look much better. It is a nice looking site, but the header images bother me a bit. They look a bit stretched and hard to see. I do like how you tried to keep them level and blend one into the other.

Hey thanks for the great advice. Will do what I can to improve as per your suggestions. And, thanks for the tip on how to do contact form, I would never of figured that one out myself.

Any more advice, just keep it coming, and plse add tips if possible to help a newbie out. Even simple html is a bit of a struggle, as you can see by changing navigation bars etc. Will work on them though and try to improve.

Hi, the pics up the top are very pixalated. Also I dont like the bar that runs under the logo, connecting the letters. Nice idea but it is not needed.

Not really a complicated site but i think it's ok for that theme. Overall nice looks buy i would be careful at the contrast of pics in left column. They really mess up the entire first page.

Looks simple and useful ! But I think you need a bit "design" to improve your image, your graphics looks "cut&paste".

Could be a good idea to present your reports in pdf format, this improve your profesional job.

Good success.

In terms of SEO you could do better. Your entire header is an image - and it hsa lots of good information about you like your company brand, the fact you have certified inspectors and great words like 'Satisfaction guaranteed'.

Google wrote:
Try to use text instead of images to display important names, content, or links. The Google crawler doesn't recognize text contained in images.

For a search engine to pick this kind of thing up it may help to use some text - for example it would be great to have 'Napoleon Home Inspections' in <h1> tags. Most of the search engines place more emphasis on the text in h1 tags, but don't over-do it. You will get penailised for saturatuing your pages with h1 tags! If your <title> tag matched that it would be even better.

Good use of <title> meta tag http://www.w3.org/QA/Tips/good-titles
Use h1 for your page title http://www.w3.org/QA/Tips/Use_h1_for_Title

The reviews above point out the obvious, the header image is not perfect (e.g. the red house logo on blue, I can't make that out clearly) although from what I just wrote I hope you are already thinking about other header options right now! By all means use images to spruce up your site, but get your information across in text, it counts for a lot.

I don't agree perse on the flash and animation. You are a home inspector not a Disney illustrator, keep it informational, fresh and relevant to your business.

The other obvious, the contact form needs integrating with the site. Right now it would just be a matter of insertuing that (current) header image into the top of the page (like in a new table row (<tr><td><img src='...' /></td></tr>) after "<table width="745" cellpaddin..."). It may also help to have a button or link on this contact page also to return to the main site. Yes we can use the back button but some people find it more convenient to have a link there.

Overall I think you've got a great foundation to work on here, I like what you have done. Good job! 8)
