Hi there!
I am a little scared but what the heck.
I did this site to show off some references for my little second job.
I do webdesign for small enterprises, mostly static sites with not too much stuff on them.

I'd love to hear what you think, because I've read some really good comments here

Nice design - simple and to the point. The mouse constantly changing from an arrow - to the target look - is a little anoying - but other than that I like it.

like Jess says, it's nice and simple. Could maybe benefit from another colour. perhaps a light grey in the background or something along those lines, just to give the main body of the page a little more definition.

ya, the target is a bit annoying. also, the bar on the left...looks like it was made in MS Paint. not that i mind paint (i actually use it quite frequently) but i think maybe you should try making the line squared instead of rounded and about half that width. maybe even instead of black try something like #333 or even #666. try the #333 tho.

It looks good and loads fast. I don't speak german so ..

Nice clean look. I would concur with the others. It could use a bit of a background color | frame | or image to make it a bit more distinctive.

The mouse changing to a cross really confuses people. I always say stick to the hand and blue text for links because you have to consider the least technical user out there looking at your site.

The site is looking very simple now. Why don't you put some images or animations. I prefer plain cursor of mouse to this target look. Didn't know in German, for contact the spelling is so much similar.

About the bar on the left...I'll think it over. I thought of it as a continuation of th A in the Logo!
But you are right, that it is a little edgy. I'll fix that, too.

And about the Background...I'll see what it looks like with some change in that.

About images and animations...I really try to avoid animations. I don't like them myself. An image on the front page would loosen the whole thing up though!

Ok looking site. Kinda dry for my taste though.

I noticed that on this page http://www.pixelithe.de/referenzen.html the second and third image links don't open in new browser windows but the first one does. Pick one or the other. I'd suggest new browser windows.

Why does the contact us page pop open a new window? Wouldn't it make more sense to keep the whole site consistent and have it open in the same window as the rest of the content?
